The Dee Street MUGA Project

Dee Street MUGA

BOA has identified the Dee Street MUGA as it’s first project. Situated in the heart of Banchory, the existing facility is derelict and unused. Previously, it was used primarily for football and tennis and it has potential to be upgraded to a multi-sport and well-being area.

Communication with Aberdeenshire Council has indicated that the community can seek ownership of this area to create a modern multisport training facility for the Banchory community.

With full community consultation we hope to regenerate the area for:

  • 5-a-side Football
  • Tennis
  • Basketball
  • Netball
  • Padel
  • Sports training
BOA’s vision is beginning to take shape thanks to the public consultations and the 3D Scale Model drawings from Mac Architects.
